PolicyLab will participate in Cyprus Forum 2026, taking place from 28 to 30 September at The Landmark Nicosia, contributing to discussions on participatory democracy and inclusive public decision-making.

On 29 September 2026, at 15:30, George Isaia, Founder & Policy Advisor at PolicyLab, will moderate the panel discussion titled “Citizens' Participation in Public Decision-Making: From Consultation to Influence.”

The discussion will explore how citizen participation can move beyond formal consultation processes towards meaningful influence on public policy and decision-making.

Bringing together representatives from public institutions, politics, academia and civil society, the panel will examine practical approaches to strengthening participatory democracy and ensuring that citizens have a more substantive role in shaping public decisions.

PolicyLab's participation reflects its commitment to promoting evidence-based policymaking, good governance and meaningful citizen engagement.
